TECH ED Machining II
In this class, students will further their knowledge and skills necessary for entering the machining field. A large portion of the curriculum will be devoted to the advanced methods and processes of machining, along with learning how to set up and operate a CNC mill. Other topics may include CNC programming, machining careers, metallurgy and part inspection. Classroom time will be spent learning the science behind these methods, but a large portion of the class will be in the metals shop perfecting hands-on experience using the various processes.
