TECH ED Research Design Development (Prototyping and 3D Printing)

This course is designed for students who would like to further develop their technical and manufacturing skills. This course will be the foundation for reverse engineering practices through research of products and their materials. Students will be able to use basic manufacturing concepts to research, develop and improve new products. Students will work in a team environment with a focus on the design process. Students will use the implementation of CAD and 3D printing to explore the design and development process. Students will have the opportunity to utilize CNC mills and injection molding equipment.
