TECH ED Youth Apprenticeship-Architecture & Construction

Youth Apprenticeship (YA) is a highly successful, state-wide, work-based learning program in which employers hire high school juniors or seniors for a one or two-year paid apprenticeship. Students "earn and learn" during their apprenticeship while the student continues toward high school graduation. All students take courses related to the profession they are working in as a way of enhancing what is being learned within business and industry. Students have the opportunity to build work time into their school schedule. Upon completion, students will earn high school credit and an industry recognized completion certificate.
