WORLD LANGUAGE AP Spanish Literature and Culture

AP Spanish Literature and Culture is equivalent to a college level introductory survey course of literature written in Spanish. Students continue to develop their interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational skills in Spanish language as well as critical reading and analytical writing as they explore short stories, novels, plays, essays, and poetry from Spain, Latin America, and U.S. Hispanic authors along with other non-required texts. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to take the AP Spanish Literature exam.

Grade Level: 11, 12

Prerequisites: minimum grade of C- in AP Spanish Language and Culture for both parts A and B OR a score of a 4 or 5 on the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam.
